You can now choose your own cancelation policy! CYOC!? Yeah, no, that sounded better in my head. Regardless of what we call it, it’s pretty epic. In our new normal of natural disasters and COVID 19, travelers insurance just isn’t what it used to be. So we wanted to make sure that our new cancelation policies take the pressure off when you are visiting Yosemite National Park.
First, we have a super economical, non-refundable rate, called… well, its called our Non- Refundable Rate. This runs about 20-25% lower and is perfect for last minute bookings, people with legit travelers insurance and/or a sweet credit card with travel protection. Despite the name, you can still get up to 50% of your adventure refunded if you cancel at least 72 hours before your adventure.
We also have a super flexible rate - like this rate is so flexible that it must have a daily yoga routine! This one is called our Easy Cancellations Rate and it allows you to cancel your room, your adventure, or your adventure package up to 24 hours before the start time for just a $25 fee. Even if you cancel super last second, you will still get 50% back. Seriously, you won’t even have to call us and tell us your turtle is in the hospital < that was a real cancelation excuse!
Okay, there‘s got to be a catch, right!? Come on, yes, there is always a catch:
If Echo Adventure cancels your trip then you will receive 100% back regardless of which rate you chose. Why would we cancel!? We’re not trying to give the universe any ideas here, but if the air quality is above 150, or if any of our staff members test positive for COVID, or if the park is closed for any reason. You know the stuff you don’t want to think about when you are booking your vacation!
You can ALWAYS reschedule your trip or convert your adventure price to a gift card within 72 hours of your adventure. Again, doesn’t matter which cancelation policy you choose, you can do this for free! FREE!
Occasionally, neither of these options will be available. Our rafting trips for example are handled by our partners, so their cancelation policy is king.
